Our Creed
Faith - True and saving faith is the reliance on Christ for salvation. Faith in Jesus Christ delivers from darkness and allows the believer to live in His marvelous light. * All the benefits and blessings of being a Christian are received and maintained through faith.
Salvation - When the grace of God, through the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the acceptance of Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice, delivers you from your sin, its nature and penalty, while equipping you to live a life that is well pleasing to God the Father. * Salvation begins through regeneration (the born again “experience”) and will be consummated at the Lord’s return.
The Trinity - There are three that bear witness in heaven: The Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit and these three are one. The “Trinity” is not one God transforming Himself into three persons, but three persons, (Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit) working together in complete unity. *Although the word “Trinity” never actually appears in Scripture, the evidence of a triune God does.
Baptism(1) – Water Baptism: is an essential part of salvation. Water baptism puts to death the sinful nature??? and allows the believer to walk in the newness of life that Christ provided through His death and resurrection. *Only through water baptism can someone identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
Baptism(2) – in the Holy Spirit: is also an essential part of salvation. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit will allow the believer to take part in the “Rapture”. It also permits the believer to be born of the Spirit which is essential for entering into the kingdom. *Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate and distinct experience than the born again experience.
The Rature - is the event where Jesus comes for His Bride (the overcoming church). This event will take place before the Great Tribulation and it is of upmost importance for the believer to be in the center of the Lord’s will for their life in order to be ready.
Worship - is the acknowledgment of the Lord’s superiority over the believer’s life. Because of His glory, majesty, dominion and power, we believe that every believer must give themselves whole heartedly to the Lord. This is to be done not only during “worship service”, but through a life of worship.
